Photo Eraser's iOS13 support status(2021/3/17Update)

2019/9/20iOS13.0 is released, iOS13.1 on 9/25, iOS 13.1.1 and iOS version continues on 9/28, if you use photo eraser in iOS13 or higher, We have confirmed that there are two problems at this time.

We will inform you of the issue and what we plan to do in the future.

  1. Problems with camera photography(2019/9/30Update)

    (Problem symptoms)
If you try to save and send a photo taken with the camera function of photo eraser, the app will kill. It's fine if you've loaded photos stored in the Photos app.

    (Cause)
This is because the iOS process has been changed so that some of the Exif information is retrieved in a different format when shooting the camera.

    (Corresponds)
2019/9/30"Photo Eraser Version 3.1.1" corresponding to this issue has been released. If you are using iOS13 or higher, please update to the latest Photo Eraser.

  2. Problems sending Instagram(2021/3/17Update)

    (Problem symptoms)
When you tap the Instagram Send menu, the Instagram icon doesn't appear on the send screen and you can't send it to Instagram.

    (Status of the survey)
This phenomenon, including the "LINE Camera" app, we have confirmed that the same phenomenon in multiple apps with a menu to post photos to Instagram. Therefore, rather than a problem specific to the image sending app, instagram official app iOS13 support is not yet fully supported, or it is possible that iOS13 intentionally no longer supports the way it is transmitted.

    (Workaround)
If you're sending photo eraser to Instagram on iOS13, first update the official Instagram app to the latest version of the 2019/10/1 or later release. If you're using the latest Instagram official app, "Instagram" will appear in the list of apps that can be sent by tapping "Other Apps" in the Photo Eraser send menu. If you tap the icon, you'll see a screen to send to Instagram, and you can send it.

    (Corresponds)
2021/3/4Photo Eraser Version 3.2.0, which addresses this issue, has been released. In this release, we have changed the iOS standard destination selection screen to be displayed directly when the send button is tapped. Version 3.2.0 is compatible with iOS 14 and above, so please update to iOS 14 or higher and use the latest version of Photo Eraser.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you.

2019Notice of September 8

released : 2019/3/20

Thank you for using the “Photo Rubber” habitually.

There is a notice for those who have posted on Twitter using Photo Rubber.

When updating the Twitter official app to the latest, we have confirmed that there is a problem that the transmission screen is not displayed even if you select “Twitter“ in the photo Rubber transmission menu.

If you select “Twitter“ and it does not respond, you can send it to Twitter using the following method. Use this alternative method.

  1. Select “Other apps” instead of “Twitter” in the Photo Rubber send menu.
  2. Tap the Twitter icon from the list of apps that can be sent.
(If the Twitter icon is not displayed, tap the “Others” icon to turn on the Twitter display switch.)

Please refer here for the detailed investigation status of this bug and future response.

If you have any problem, please contact us from this link.

Thank you in advance for your help.

About the bug that the send menu of Twitter is ignored(2019/9/28Update)

From the other day, i had a problem that the Twitter transmission menu of photo eraser is ignored, yesterday(2019/9/27)Released latest version(7.59.5)By updating to the official Twitter app of the bug is resolved, it was confirmed that you can post successfully in the Twitter send menu.

If you're using the Post to Twitter feature, we recommend that you update the official Twitter app to the latest version.

The following information is old information prior to September 25, 2019. Leave it for reference.

============= Old Information =============

When you update the official Twitter app to the latest, even if you select "Twitter" in the send photo eraser menu, the send screen does not appear(Menu selection is ignored)We are confirming that a situation has occurred.

A detailed investigation into the circumstances of this case has revealed the following:

  • Older iOS previously verified to work(11.0)But if you update the Twitter app to the latest, you'll have problems.
  • It's fine to post to Facebook in a similar way.
  • Famous apps such as "SNOW" and "LINE Camera" are no longer responding to twitter posting buttons as well as Photo Eraser.

From this, it is possible that something is wrong with the latest version of the official Twitter app, or that the official Twitter app intentionally no longer supports the way it is sent.

If you're not responding when you choose Twitter, you can send it to Twitter in the following ways, so you can use this alternative:

  1. Select "Other Apps" instead of Twitter in the Photo Eraser send menu.
    info023-1
  2. Then, a list of apps that can be sent is displayed, tap the Twitter icon from among them.
info023-4If you don't see the Twitter icon, tap the "Other" icon to turn on the Twitter display switch.
    info023-2

    info023-3

Fix photo eraser processing for this issue(Change how you send to Twitter)I'd like to think a little carefully about the status of future updates to the official Twitter app and the trends of other apps with Twitter posting capabilities.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope you will be able to respond in an alternative way for a while.

If there is any progress in the future, I will report it from time to time.

Thank you.
